It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The weather the last couple of weeks have made it really easy to get into the Christmas spirit. In fact, the blizzard a couple weeks ago actually forced me to be still for a minute. My family and I are constantly on the move, I mean constantly, and to have that day limit us on what we could do actually ended up being a blessing. Sometimes I get too focused on accomplishments versus memories.

At Pine Village we work hard to make memories, because at the end of the day it’s not necessarily about what was checked off the ‘to do’ list, but what we remember that made us smile. This holiday season we hope you will stop by and join us in making some memories. Come enjoy a cup of coffee or cappuccino with us and enjoy one of our many holiday activities.

This Sunday, Moundridge Evangelical Free Church will host a live worship service at 10 a.m. in the Wellness Center. On Tuesday, December 11 at 1 p.m. we’ll be watching “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on the big screen in the Wellness Center. That night at 7 p.m. will be a Family & Friends Christmas program. Then on Wednesday, December 12 at 3 p.m. will be the Chimes Winter Program, followed by the Elementary School Christmas program that Friday at 2 p.m. This week will wrap up with a Holdeman Christmas program on Saturday, December 15 at 6 p.m. Be sure to watch next week’s article for more upcoming Christmas celebrations.

This holiday season, remember HE is the reason for the season. Be kind to one another!
