The Holiday Season is upon us. While this time of year is so busy and hectic with scheduling and planning, it’s also a reminder of the thankfulness of having loved ones to plan and schedule with. I hope you take time to truly be thankful for the blessings embedded in the hectic-ness that this time of year brings.
Pine Village will celebrate Thanksgiving next Thursday with a traditional Thanksgiving Day feast for lunch, and will welcome many family members that day! Our director of marketing, Julie Brochtrup, also has been highlighting daily on Facebook what we are thankful for, and that list continues to grow and grow – what a blessing!
We also are preparing for the Christmas Season and hope that if you have loved ones at Pine Village you have one of these days marked on your calendar. On Tuesday, December 5 we will have our 2nd annual holiday family pot luck from 5-6 p.m. with all those who live in Meadowbrook, Heritage and Assisted Living neighborhoods. Then, on Tuesday, December 12 we will have another family pot luck with Sunflower and Applewood families from 5-6 p.m. This has proved to be a great time of food, family and fellowship and we hope you will join your loved one!
