Christmas Traditions

The trees are decorated, the stockings are hung, and the countdown to Christmas is officially on! With this season of traditions, Pine Village is starting a new one. We are kicking off December with family Christmas dinners. Next week, we will host two dinners, which residents’ families have been invited to. This will be a time of fellowship, memory making and fun as we gather around food with those we love.

Another tradition on campus is the caroling groups who come each year. We always look forward to them, and if your group would like to spread some holiday cheer, please contact Life Enrichment at 620.345.2901 ext. 247.

The annual Resident Christmas party will be December 22. Staff members are secret Santa’s showering residents with gifts. Santa Claus himself usually makes an appearance and festive cheer is spread through song and goodies!

I hope that during this holiday season you and yours find blessings in the hustle and bustle of family, traditions, food and the true reason for the season. Happy Birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas to you all!

Be kind to one another!
